Quick quiz. What do fatigue, acne, chronic allergies, eczema, migraines, irritable bowel, diabetes, autoimmune disease, and heart disease have in common? They can all be prevented, improved, or even cured with food. Our old mate Socrates was spot on over 2,500 years ago when he told us that food is medicine. And despite the whole food movement gaining momentum, there are still people out there who think this is crazy talk! The long and short of it is focus on whole foods. Take the processed crap out. Good stuff happens.

Eating Healthy Is a Game Changer

You're probably reading this to see how you can lose weight or build muscle by dialling in your nutrition. No worries at all. We can do this. But losing weight or building muscle are a byproduct of eating well. When you give your body what it needs, everything kicks into gear. When we work together, we'll look at what foods will give you the most bang for your buck. You'll get all your questions answered and cut through the noise.

You might have stumbled on this page looking to increase performance. It doesn't matter if you're a gym rat, crossfitter, triathlete, or ninja warrior. I can make sure you're fuelling correctly for your goal. We'll look at what you're eating. From there, we start to tweak based on the complex scientific principle of 'how's that working for you'.

If You Could Only Do One Thing. . .

Nutrition has the biggest impact on your health. Yes, way more than exercise. It's the most important thing you do every day. If you could only do one thing to improve your health, eating whole foods is it. You can't out-exercise a poor diet. So the only way you'll get healthy is by eating well. Popeye was right all along. It's not about being perfect or giving up your favourite foods. Just show up. And be consistent.

Think of me as your neutral food adviser. I can give you the impartial advice you need without being tied down to crazy food guidelines or prescriptive diets. Yes, I've tried paleo, ketogenic, high carb, low carb, mostly plant based, and plenty of other diets. I can help you out with these, or we can find out what works best for you. There's no one size fits all.


Nuts and Bolts of Nutritional Coaching

My nutritional coaching starts with a free 30 minute consultation to discuss your goals. We then map out a plan and determine how many sessions you'll need. There's no minimum commitment.  So feel free to stop by for a single session if that's all you need. You can also choose ongoing support. My rate is $80 per hour or $40 per half hour session. Nutritional coaching includes the following services, but can be customised if you have something specific in mind.

We'll look at what you're eating and see how we can improve. You'll get a customised nutritional plan.
